ATP: Matteo Arnaldi vs Lorenzo Musetti

About Market

MARKET SUMMARY

This market centers on the head-to-head outcome between Matteo Arnaldi and Lorenzo Musetti at their ATP singles meeting, framing the contest as a direct measure of which player prevails on the day. The fixture serves as a meaningful focal point because it pits two established tour-level competitors against one another in a single-elimination setting, where form, surface suitability, and fitness converge to shape a definitive result rather than an incremental standing. Traders are assessing the relative likelihood that each player claims the victory, weighing recent results, head-to-head history, and match conditions to gauge which competitor is more likely to advance when the two meet on court.

RULES
  1. Market Outcomes and Resolution Criteria: This market resolves to the player recorded as the Official Winner of the match. It resolves to Matteo Arnaldi if Arnaldi is the recorded winner, and to Lorenzo Musetti if Musetti is the recorded winner. There is no draw outcome in tennis; it resolves to Tie only under the cancellation conditions in Rule 5, in which case all positions settle at $0.50 per share.

  2. Definition of Official Winner: The Official Winner is the player advancing under the completed-match result published by the ATP Tour, including results by Finished, Retired, Walkover (after play begins), or Default. A retirement or injury withdrawal after the match has started counts as a loss for the withdrawing player. A walkover declared before the match begins does not produce a winner and is handled under Rule 5.

  3. Official Sources and Evidence: The primary source is the official tournament website (ATP Tour / Mubadala Citi DC Open). Secondary sources — ESPN, BBC Sport, Tennis Abstract, and FlashScore — are used only for corroboration where the primary source is delayed or silent.

  4. Resolution Timing: The scheduled start is 2026-07-27 17:00 UTC, listed to follow the preceding match on the same court. The market is checked once the match concludes and resolves no sooner than 5 hours after the official result is posted by the ATP Tour, allowing for confirmation of the final result.

  5. Handling Postponements and Cancellations: Rain or scheduling delays extend the resolution deadline in line with official tournament rescheduling. If the match is suspended, postponed, or cancelled and is not completed within 3 days of the scheduled start (including a walkover before play begins), the market resolves to Tie and all positions settle at $0.50 per share.

  6. Ambiguities and Disputes: Where sources conflict, the official ATP Tour result takes precedence over all secondary sources. If the primary source is unavailable, resolution follows the agreement of a majority of the listed secondary sources; unresolved ambiguity within the timeline of Rule 5 resolves to Tie at $0.50 per share.
