SCL: Safee Sali VS Koo Kian Kiat

About Market

Market Summary

This market centers on the outcome of a Shadow Combat League bout between Safee Sali and Koo Kian Kiat, two pilots controlling combat robots in a three-round contest decided by knockout, technical knockout, or points. Shadow Combat League stages robot fights in which pilots steer machines through three-minute rounds, with an HP bar and sensor system scoring hits and a referee overseeing each exchange, so a single bout can turn on one decisive hit, a mechanical failure, or steady scoring across the full distance. Traders are assessing which pilot is more likely to be declared the official winner, weighing how each pilot and robot handles pressure, damage, and the risk of breakdown, with most competitors appearing in the league for the first time.

Rules
  1. Market Outcomes and Resolution Criteria: This market resolves to Safee Sali if Safee Sali is declared the official winner of the bout by Shadow Combat League (SCL). It resolves to Koo Kian Kiat if Koo Kian Kiat is declared the official winner. It resolves to Tie if the bout ends in a draw, is cancelled, does not take place, or no official winner is announced within 24 hours of the scheduled start; in the event of a Tie resolution, all positions settle at $0.50 per share.

  2. Definition of a Win: A bout is three rounds of 3 minutes each. A bout ends early by:

    • KO: a robot becomes inoperable, or falls and does not get up within the referee's 10-second count.
    • TKO: a pilot cannot continue, a robot breaks down without being hit, or a robot's HP bar is fully depleted. If no KO or TKO occurs, the winner is decided on points as scored by SCL's judges or sensor system. If both robots are knocked out at the same time, the bout ends and is decided on rounds already won; if rounds won are level, the bout is a draw. Any winner SCL officially declares, including by disqualification, counts.
  3. Robot and Pilot Changes: If a robot cannot be restarted and its pilot continues with a replacement robot, the bout and this market continue. If either pilot named in this market does not fight in this bout, for any reason, the market resolves to Tie, even if SCL announces a replacement.

  4. Official Sources and Evidence: The primary source is the official result announced by SCL on the SCL livestream. SCL's official accounts on X (@shadowcleague) and Instagram (@shadowcleague) are accepted as equivalent confirmation. Rumours, fan footage, commentary, and unofficial reports do not qualify.

  5. Resolution Timing: Trading stays open during the bout and closes when the market resolves. The market resolves after SCL announces the official result.

  6. Handling Postponements and Cancellations: If the bout is rescheduled to within 7 days of the original start, the market remains open and all deadlines follow the new start time. If the bout is postponed by more than 7 days, cancelled before it starts, or cancelled after it starts because the robots cannot be restarted and SCL declares no winner, the market resolves to Tie.

  7. Ambiguities and Disputes: The result SCL announces at the end of the bout is final. SCL has no appeal or review process, and later statements do not change the resolution. If SCL's official channels conflict, the livestream announcement takes precedence.
