Stake Pulse: Liquid vs Fnatic

About Market

MARKET SUMMARY

This market centers on the outcome of the Counter-Strike 2 series between Team Liquid and Fnatic at Stake Pulse Beat I, using the completion of that scheduled series as the defining reference point for determining the result. The series is a meaningful focal point because it sits in the single-elimination stage of the event, where the winning side advances toward the title and the losing side exits the bracket, concentrating an entire tournament run into one best-of-three meeting between two established international organizations. Traders are assessing which team will be officially recorded as the series winner, weighing recent form, map pool preferences, head-to-head history, and roster composition as the two sides meet in the playoff stage.

RULES
  1. Market Outcomes and Resolution Criteria: The market has exactly two outcomes — Liquid and Fnatic — and resolves to whichever team is officially recorded as the winner of this completed series. No draw is possible under the best-of-three (BO3) format. It resolves to "Tie" if the series is cancelled, postponed beyond 24 hours of the originally scheduled start time of 5 August 2026, 15:00 UTC, or concluded without an officially recorded winner; in the event of a Tie resolution, all positions settle at $0.50 per share.

  2. Definition of Series Winner: The "series winner" is the team recorded as the winner of this match in the official Stake Pulse Beat I results, determined under the best-of-three (BO3) format applied by the tournament organizer — the first team to win 2 maps. If the organizer applies a different series format to this match, the officially recorded series winner governs. Individual map wins, round scores, and in-series leads do not resolve this market. A forfeit or default victory awarded by the tournament organizer resolves to the team awarded the win.

  3. Official Sources and Evidence: The primary sources for resolution are HLTV.org (https://www.hltv.org) and the official tournament organizer's published results for Stake Pulse Beat I. Secondary sources include Liquipedia Counter-Strike (https://liquipedia.net/counterstrike) and verified official team social media; these may be used only to confirm timing and result details and cannot override a clear or later-dated publication by HLTV.org or the tournament organizer.

  4. Resolution Timing: The market is checked upon series completion and resolves once the official result is published, with a resolution buffer of no sooner than 5 hours after the series concludes. Based on the scheduled start of 5 August 2026, 15:00 UTC, the result is expected to be confirmed and the market resolved by the market end time.

  5. Handling Postponements and Cancellations: If the series is postponed but completed with an official winner recorded within 24 hours of the originally scheduled start time, that result determines the outcome. If the series is cancelled, or no official winner is recorded within 24 hours of the originally scheduled start time, the market resolves to "Tie" at $0.50 per share. Server issues, technical pauses, and same-day map replays follow the tournament organizer's official rulings and do not constitute a postponement.

  6. Ambiguities and Disputes: If conflicting information exists regarding the result of this series, the official tournament organizer's published result takes precedence, followed by HLTV.org. Any result under active official protest or review remains unresolved until the tournament organizer issues a final ruling; once the market has resolved, settlement stands.
