UFC: Mateusz Gamrot vs Quillan Salkilld

About Market

MARKET SUMMARY

This market centers on the outcome of the UFC Vegas 120 lightweight main event between No. 8-ranked Mateusz Gamrot and No. 12-ranked Quillan Salkilld at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. The five-round bout carries clear divisional stakes — Salkilld arrives unbeaten in the UFC across five appearances, riding three consecutive first-round finishes that each earned a Performance of the Night bonus, while Gamrot, a former KSW champion with wins over Arman Tsarukyan and Rafael Fiziev, stands as the established gatekeeper to the lightweight top ten. Traders are evaluating each fighter's trajectory, stylistic matchup, and the magnitude of the divisional implications to determine which man is declared the official winner inside the Octagon.

RULES
  1. Market Outcomes and Resolution Criteria: This market resolves to "Gamrot" if Mateusz Gamrot is officially declared the winner by the UFC. It resolves to "Salkilld" if Quillan Salkilld is officially declared the winner. If the fight results in a draw, technical draw, No Contest, or is cancelled, the market resolves "Tie" (i.e., all positions settle at $0.50 per share).

  2. Definition of Official Winner: A fighter is the official winner if the bout concludes via KO/TKO, submission, unanimous decision, split decision, or majority decision — any method by which the UFC officially records a victor on the fight's result. Technical decisions following accidental fouls that result in a declared winner also count.

  3. Official Sources and Evidence: The primary resolution source is the official UFC result as posted on ufc.com/events. Secondary corroboration may be drawn from the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) official scorecards and post-fight announcements, as well as ESPN and MMA Junkie. The UFC official announcement takes precedence in any conflict.

  4. Resolution Timing: The market resolves no sooner than 1 hour after the UFC officially posts the fight result on ufc.com/events following the conclusion of the bout. The market will be checked and resolved within 24 hours of the official result being posted.

  5. Handling Postponements, Cancellations, and Edge Cases: If the fight does not take place within 24 hours of the scheduled bout date of 9 August 2026, 00:00 UTC — including cancellation, postponement beyond the deadline, or fighter withdrawal — the market resolves "Tie". A No Contest ruling (e.g., due to a failed drug test disclosed post-fight, accidental foul with no scoreable rounds, or referee error) also triggers a "Tie" resolution regardless of any in-cage announcement.

  6. Ambiguities and Disputes: If a result announced in the Octagon is subsequently overturned by the relevant athletic commission or the UFC before the market resolves, the market will wait for the corrected official result before resolving. If the result is under active official review at the time of resolution, the market will remain open until a final determination is published by the UFC or the relevant athletic commission, up to market close. In the event of conflicting information between sources, the ufc.com/events official result takes precedence.
