VCT: FUT Esports vs Eternal Fire

About Market

MARKET SUMMARY

This market centers on the outcome of the VCT 2026: EMEA Stage 2 Play-Ins upper-bracket semi-final between FUT Esports and Eternal Fire on 15 August 2026, 15:00 UTC, comparing which organisation is officially recorded as the series winner. The fixture is a meaningful focal point because the Play-Ins run as a bracket in which an upper-bracket win shortens a team's route through Stage 2 while a defeat forces the longer elimination path, and because it is an all-Turkish meeting between two organisations with heavily overlapping domestic fan bases. Traders are assessing the relative likelihood that each team takes the series, weighing map pool depth, agent compositions, recent form, and the head-to-head record the two sides have built across earlier VCT EMEA stages.

RULES
  1. Market Outcomes and Resolution Criteria: This market refers to the VALORANT Play-Ins upper-bracket semi-final between FUT Esports and Eternal Fire in VCT 2026: EMEA Stage 2, initially scheduled for 15 August 2026, 15:00 UTC. It resolves to "FUT" if FUT Esports win the series against Eternal Fire, and to "EF" if Eternal Fire win the series against FUT Esports. It resolves to Tie if the series is cancelled (not played at all), concluded without an officially declared winner, or postponed beyond 7 days of the original scheduled start; in the event of a Tie resolution, all positions settle at $0.50 per share.

  2. Definition of Winner and Series Format: The winner is the team recorded as winning this series in the official VCT match record. The series is played as a best-of-three (BO3) as published in the official VCT 2026: EMEA Stage 2 Play-Ins bracket; the first team to win 2 maps is the official series winner, and no draw outcome is possible under BO3 format. If the tournament organizer publishes a different series format for this fixture, the published format governs and the team recorded as winning the series is the winner. Individual map or round results do not resolve this market — only the recorded series result does.

  3. Official Sources and Evidence: The primary resolution source is the official VCT website (https://valorantesports.com) together with Liquipedia VALORANT (https://liquipedia.net/valorant). Secondary sources include vlr.gg, thespike.gg, verified official team social media, and Riot Games official communications; these may be used only for confirmation of timing and result details and cannot override clear or later-dated official publications.

  4. Resolution Timing: The market resolves once the official series result is published in the VCT match record, with a resolution buffer of no sooner than 24 hours after that result is posted — or once it becomes clear that no qualifying result will be recorded within 24 hours of the original scheduled start.

  5. Handling Postponements and Cancellations: If the series is delayed but a winner is determined beyond 7 days of the original scheduled start, that result determines the outcome. If the series is cancelled (not played at all), or no winner is determined beyond 7 days of the original scheduled start, the market resolves to Tie at $0.50 per share. Technical issues and in-game pauses are handled per Riot Games' official VCT tournament rules, and map selection follows the official VCT veto format in force for this stage.

  6. Forfeits, Disqualifications, and Walkovers: If the series begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, the market resolves to the team who wins. If a team withdraws before the series starts and the other advances automatically, the market resolves to Tie at $0.50 per share.

  7. Ambiguities and Disputes: If conflicting information exists regarding the result of this series, the most recent official VCT publication takes precedence over Liquipedia and all secondary sources. In any remaining ambiguous case not explicitly covered above, the resolver will rely on the official tournament record for this specific series to determine the outcome.
