What will NVIDIA (NVDA) hit in September 2026?
About Market
This market centers on which price levels NVIDIA (NVDA) common stock will touch during the regular trading sessions of September 2026, measuring the shares against a ladder of thresholds spanning the range around their prevailing level. The end of September serves as a meaningful checkpoint for one of the most heavily traded names on the Nasdaq, capping a month in which data-center demand, quarterly guidance, artificial-intelligence spending trends, macroeconomic signals, and broad technology-sector sentiment all pull on the price. Traders are assessing the likelihood and timing of an intraday high or low reaching each listed threshold, turning the remaining eligible trading sessions of the month into a set of clearly defined, outcome-based propositions.
1. Market Outcomes and Resolution Criteria: This market resolves to "YES" if, at any point from 1 September 2026, 13:30 UTC or the time of market creation, whichever is later, through 30 September 2026, 20:00 UTC, any 1-minute candle for NVIDIA Corporation (NVDA) records a final "Low" price at or below $200.00. It resolves to "NO" if no qualifying 1-minute candle Low is recorded within that window. There is no TIE outcome in this market. Only prices printed during the regular trading session of the primary listing exchange (Nasdaq), 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM ET, which is 13:30 UTC to 20:00 UTC throughout September 2026, are considered. Pre-market and after-hours prints never qualify.
2. Definition of a Qualifying Touch: A qualifying touch is a single 1-minute candle for NVDA whose published "Low" is at or below $200.00, taken exactly as published by Pyth, without rounding, so a Low of exactly $200.00 counts as reaching the level and any value above $200.00 does not, however close. One 1-minute candle is sufficient, and no settlement, close, or sustained move below the level is required. Daily settlement prices, official opening and closing prices, bid and ask quotes, midpoints, and indicative prices are never used to determine whether the threshold was reached. Prints occurring outside an eligible regular trading session do not qualify.
3. Eligible Trading Sessions and Closures: Only regular Nasdaq trading sessions falling within the window are eligible, so weekends and exchange holidays are excluded, including the Labor Day holiday on Monday, 7 September 2026, when Nasdaq is closed. A shortened session is eligible for the hours it is open. Eligibility does not depend on an official closing price being published: a qualifying touch already printed on Pyth stands and resolves the market YES regardless of any subsequent trading halt, circuit breaker, or failure to publish a close for that session. If a halt suspends trading, the remainder of that session simply produces no further eligible prints and observation continues at the next eligible session.
4. Official Sources and Evidence: The authoritative source for resolution is Pyth, specifically the NVIDIA (NVDA) 1-minute candle "High" and "Low" data available at https://pythdata.app/explore/Equity.US.NVDA%2FUSD, with the chart settings configured for 1-minute candles. Historical 1-minute candles may be accessed by appending a Unix timestamp in seconds to the chart URL using the t= parameter, and any timestamp within the market time frame may be used to view the relevant candle data (for example, https://pythdata.app/explore/Equity.US.NVDA%2FUSD?t=1788269400 for the opening minute of 1 September 2026). Prices are used exactly as published by Pyth after any applicable adjustments, without rounding. If Pyth data is unavailable for 48 hours or more due to a system outage, data failure, or other technical disruption that prevents verification of the required 1-minute candle data, the official daily high and low price published by Nasdaq for the affected session may be used to determine whether the listed price was reached. Bloomberg, Reuters, Yahoo Finance, MarketWatch, and Investing.com may corroborate but cannot override the Pyth record under any circumstance.
5. Resolution Timing: The market is monitored continuously across the eligible trading sessions and resolves YES immediately once a qualifying 1-minute candle with a Low at or below $200.00 is recorded on Pyth. If no qualifying candle occurs, the market resolves NO once the final eligible session's candle data is published following the close of the window at 30 September 2026, 20:00 UTC. No touch is counted after the window closes.
6. Data Revisions and Corporate Actions: The 1-minute candle data as published by Pyth for the relevant session governs, and if Pyth formally revises a candle value prior to resolution the revised value governs. In the event of a stock split, reverse stock split, or similar corporate action affecting NVIDIA during the window, resolution is based on the split-adjusted price history as displayed on Pyth, and the $200.00 threshold is adjusted proportionally by the same ratio, so a 4-for-1 split moves the threshold to $50.00 and a 1-for-2 reverse split moves it to $400.00. The price history and the threshold are always adjusted together so that the economic question the market asks is unchanged by the corporate action.
7. Ambiguities and Disputes: If any ambiguity arises regarding a candle value or publication timing, the 1-minute candle data published by Pyth takes precedence. Because Pyth publishes no exchange calendar or corporate-action record, questions of session boundaries, trading days, holiday closures, and the ratio of any split or other corporate action are settled by Nasdaq's official records and trading calendar. In any remaining unclear case, the outcome is determined strictly using the Pyth-published 1-minute candle Low for NVIDIA (NVDA) as defined in these rules.
