Which anime will win Anime of the Year at the 10th Crunchyroll Anime Awards?

About Market

Market Summary

This market centers on which nominated anime will be officially announced as the winner of Anime of the Year at the 10th Crunchyroll Anime Awards, with the awards announcement serving as the defining reference point. The awards ceremony functions as a single, definitive milestone at which the winner is formally revealed, resolving all competing nominations into one official outcome within a fixed event. Traders are assessing which listed anime will ultimately be declared the winner at that moment, weighing factors such as critical reception, audience popularity, and industry recognition to determine which title is most likely to be named Anime of the Year.

Rules
  1. Market Outcomes and Resolution Criteria: This market resolves to “YES” if DAN DA DAN Season 2 is officially announced as the winner of Anime of the Year at the 10th Crunchyroll Anime Awards. It resolves to “NO” if any other anime is officially declared the winner of Anime of the Year. It resolves to “Tie” if the Anime of the Year award is canceled, postponed beyond 23:59 UTC May 23, 2026, concluded without an officially declared winner, or if no official winner is recorded by that deadline; in the event of a Tie resolution, all positions settle at $0.50 per share.
  2. Definition of Official Winner: “Officially announced as the winner” means the anime explicitly named as the Anime of the Year recipient in official results published by Crunchyroll. This includes announcements made during the official awards livestream, official website postings, or verified Crunchyroll social media accounts. Outcomes determined through audience voting, jury selection, or any official awards mechanism are valid so long as Crunchyroll formally records the result.
  3. Official Sources and Evidence: The primary source for resolution is official information published by Crunchyroll, including announcements on the Crunchyroll Anime Awards website, official livestream broadcasts, or verified Crunchyroll social media accounts. Secondary sources such as reputable entertainment media may be used for confirmation of timing and content but cannot override clear or later-dated official Crunchyroll publications.
  4. Handling Postponements, Cancellations, and Non-Winner Outcomes: If the awards ceremony is postponed but an official Anime of the Year winner is announced before 23:59 UTC May 23, 2026, that result determines the outcome. If the ceremony is canceled, remains unheld, or concludes without an official Anime of the Year winner being declared by the deadline, the market resolves to “Tie.”
  5. Resolution Timing: The market ends at 23:59 UTC May 23, 2026 and will be resolved as soon as reasonably practical after the official Anime of the Year winner is announced or it becomes clear that no qualifying announcement will occur before the deadline.
  6. Ambiguities and Disputes: In cases of conflicting or ambiguous information regarding the winner or announcement timing, the most recent official publication from Crunchyroll takes precedence. In any remaining ambiguous case not explicitly covered above, the resolver will rely on official Crunchyroll records to determine whether DAN DA DAN Season 2 is recorded as the Anime of the Year winner.
