CS2: ECHO vs Walczaki

About Market

Market Summary

This market centers on the Thunderpick World Championship 2026 South America Series 1 best-of-three fixture between ECHO and Walczaki, with attention focused on which side emerges as the winner of the series. The pairing is a notable focal point because it sets two regional Counter-Strike 2 sides against one another in a series where map-pool preparation, pistol-round conversions, and the ability to close out maps under pressure determine which team prevails, a contrast in form and approach that shapes expectations for the result. Traders are assessing the likelihood that ECHO or Walczaki takes the series, weighing each team's recent results, head-to-head tendencies, and the typical competitive balance of best-of-three matches at this level of play.

Rules
  1. Market Outcomes and Resolution Criteria: The market has two outcomes — ECHO and Walczaki. It resolves to ECHO if ECHO wins the best-of-three series, and to Walczaki if Walczaki wins the series. A best-of-three always produces a winner, so a draw in the result is not possible; a Tie outcome applies only under the postponement and cancellation conditions in Rule 5.

  2. Definition of the Match Result: The winning team is the one officially credited with the series victory in the best-of-three — that is, the first team to win two maps. Each map is decided by the standard CS2 round format, including any overtime required to determine that map's winner; a map's internal round score does not affect this market, only which team is credited the map and, in turn, the series. A forfeit or default victory counts as the official result and resolves the market to the team awarded the win.

  3. Official Sources and Evidence: Primary source: HLTV.org and the official Thunderpick World Championship 2026 organizer record. Secondary sources for corroboration: Liquipedia CS2 and verified official team and tournament social media and broadcast. The official tournament organizer's match record is the definitive record in the event of any discrepancy.

  4. Resolution Timing: The market resolves no sooner than 5 hours after the official final series result is confirmed on HLTV.org and the tournament organizer record. Trading may already be closed under Rule 7; all open positions are locked through to resolution.

  5. Handling Postponements and Cancellations: If the match is postponed, suspended, or rescheduled, the market remains open while the fixture is given the chance to be completed; postponements are accommodated for up to 48 hours past the scheduled start. If no eligible completed series result exists more than 72 hours past the scheduled start, or the match is cancelled, the market resolves to Tie and all positions settle at $0.50 per share. Partial map scores from an abandoned series are ignored unless the fixture is officially resumed and completed within the waiting window, in which case the final series result is used.

  6. Ambiguities and Disputes: In the event of conflicting result reports between sources, the official tournament organizer's record (corroborated by HLTV.org) takes precedence. If HLTV.org is unavailable at resolution time, a consensus of at least two secondary sources is used. Any result under active official protest, review, or technical-issue ruling remains unresolved until the tournament organizer issues a final decision; forfeits and defaults resolve per that official statement.

  7. Trading Window and Pause: Trading remains open from the start of the series until the official series result is confirmed. There is no in-match pause, and trading closes when the result is confirmed, with all open positions locked through to resolution. If the series is suspended in live play, trading follows the official match status until play resumes or the fixture is settled under Rule 5.
