Rules
  1. Market Outcomes and Resolution Criteria: This market resolves to “CHE” if Chennai Super Kings is officially recorded as the winner of the specified match. It resolves to “PUN” if Punjab Kings is officially recorded as the winner. It resolves to “Tie” if the match is abandoned, declared “No Result,” tied without a subsequent tie-break winner, postponed beyond 17:30 UTC April 3, 2026, or if no official winner is recorded by that deadline; in the event of a Tie resolution, all positions settle at $0.50 per share.
  2. Definition of Official Winner: “Officially recorded as the winner” means the team listed as the winner in the finalized match result under IPL playing conditions. This includes outcomes determined via regulation play, DLS/DRS adjustments, over-rate penalties, forfeits/walkovers, or any officially sanctioned tiebreak method such as a Super Over.
  3. Official Sources and Evidence: The primary source for resolution is the finalized match result as published by https://www.espncricinfo.com and recognized by the event organizers. If official statistics are not published within a reasonable timeframe after match completion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used, but cannot override later official publications.
  4. Handling Ties and Special Match Outcomes: If the match ends tied and an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over) is conducted, the winner of that tiebreak determines the outcome. If the match ends tied without a tiebreak under the applicable playing conditions, the market resolves to “Tie.”
  5. Handling Postponements, Cancellations, and Non-Completion: If the match is postponed but completed and an official winner is declared before 17:30 UTC April 3, 2026, that result determines the outcome. If the match is abandoned, not completed, or no official winner is declared by the deadline, the market resolves to “Tie.”
  6. Resolution Timing: The market ends at 17:30 UTC April 3, 2026 and will normally be resolved as soon as reasonably practical after the official result is published or it becomes clear that no qualifying result will be recorded before the deadline.
  7. Ambiguities and Disputes: If conflicting information exists regarding the match result or timing, the most recent official publication recognized by the event organizers takes precedence. In any remaining ambiguous case not explicitly covered above, the resolver will rely on official match records to determine the outcome.
