NBA: Nuggets vs Timberwolves

About Market

Market Summary

This market centers on the head-to-head game result between the Denver Nuggets and the Minnesota Timberwolves, scheduled for May 1, 2026, at 01:30 UTC, as part of the NBA competitive schedule. The NBA stands as the premier professional basketball league globally, where late-season game results carry heightened consequences for playoff qualification, seeding, and postseason bracket positioning across a tightly contested conference landscape. Traders are evaluating each franchise's current form, key player availability, recent head-to-head record, offensive and defensive efficiency, and home court dynamics to assess the probability of either the Denver Nuggets or the Minnesota Timberwolves securing victory in this scheduled fixture.

Rules

1. Market Outcomes and Resolution Criteria: The market resolves YES if the Denver Nuggets have a higher final score than the Minnesota Timberwolves at the conclusion of the game; it resolves NO if the Minnesota Timberwolves win. There is no TIE outcome; NBA games cannot end in a draw as overtime periods are played until a winner is determined.

2. Definition of "Win": For resolution purposes, "win" means the Denver Nuggets hold a higher point total than the Minnesota Timberwolves at the end of regulation or, if applicable, at the conclusion of all overtime periods. All overtime periods are included in the final result for resolution purposes.

3. Official Sources and Evidence: The primary source is the official NBA game results page (nba.com). ESPN and Basketball Reference (basketball-reference.com) may be used as secondary sources for corroboration only. Official post-game box scores and verified live broadcast final scores are also accepted.

4. Resolution Timing: The market is reviewed upon confirmation of the final buzzer. It resolves no sooner than 2 hours after the official final score is published on the primary source, to allow for result propagation and verification. If the game is delayed from the scheduled 01:30 UTC tip-off but commences on the same calendar date, the result still governs resolution.

5. Handling Postponements and Cancellations: If the game is postponed beyond May 1, 2026, or abandoned before completion without an official result being declared, the market resolves Tie at .50 per share. If the game is suspended mid-game and later resumed to completion, the final official score upon completion governs. A forfeit awarded by the NBA to either team counts as a win for the benefiting team for resolution purposes.

6. Ambiguities and Disputes: In cases of conflicting scores between sources, the official NBA published result takes precedence over all secondary sources. If a result is subject to an NBA official review or protest that could alter the outcome, resolution is deferred until the NBA's final determination is confirmed, at which point the ratified result governs.
