SCL: Will any bout end without a KO/TKO?
About Market
This market centers on whether at least one bout across the SCL event card will conclude without a KO or TKO, reaching the end of all three rounds and being decided by accumulated round points rather than a decisive stoppage. In SCL's bout format, a KO or TKO at any point during any round immediately ends the entire bout — making a points decision a meaningful indicator of robot durability and pilot restraint across the full card. Traders are assessing the likelihood that at least one matchup on the card escapes a clean finish, weighing the overall aggressiveness of the pilot lineup, robot build quality, and the tendency of SCL bouts to end in stoppages versus going the distance.
- Market Outcomes and Resolution Criteria: This market resolves YES if at least one bout on the SCL event card ends without a KO or TKO in any round — meaning all three rounds of that bout are completed and the winner is determined by accumulated round points. It resolves NO if every bout on the card ends via KO or TKO. It resolves as a Tie if the event is cancelled, all bouts are declared no-contests, or if no official card-wide result is available within 24 hours of the scheduled event start; in the event of a Tie resolution, all positions settle at $0.50 per share.
- Definition of KO and TKO: A KO (Knockout) occurs when a robot is struck and becomes fully incapacitated — defined as losing all function — during active fight time. A TKO (Technical Knockout) occurs when a robot's HP bar is fully depleted. Either outcome immediately ends the entire bout at the point it occurs, regardless of which round it happens in. A bout that ends via KO or TKO at any stage counts as a bout ending with a stoppage for the purposes of this market.
- Official Sources and Evidence: Resolution is based on the official SCL event results as announced by SCL via their livestream and/or official social media channels (@shadowcleague on X), covering all bouts on the card. Secondary corroboration may be drawn from verified SCL broadcast replays or official on-chain result records where available.
- Resolution Timing: The market resolves no sooner than 1 hour after SCL officially confirms the results of all bouts on the event card via their livestream or official social media. The market is checked once the full card results are posted and resolves promptly thereafter, subject to the 1-hour minimum buffer.
- Handling Postponements and Cancellations: If individual bouts are postponed or cancelled but the event card otherwise concludes, resolution is based on the bouts that were officially completed. If the entire event is postponed, the market remains open and the deadline extends to match the rescheduled date, provided it falls within 7 days of the original date. If postponed beyond 7 days or cancelled entirely, the market resolves as a Tie. Bouts stopped mid-round due to equipment failure or arena incident with no official ruling from SCL are excluded from resolution consideration.
- Ambiguities and Disputes: In the event of conflicting signals between the livestream result and subsequent SCL announcements, the most recent official statement from SCL (@shadowcleague) takes precedence. If it is unclear whether a bout ended via stoppage or points decision, resolution defers to SCL's explicit confirmation. Unofficial commentary, pilot statements, or third-party reporting do not qualify as resolution evidence.
