Stake Ranked: 3DMAX vs Magic

About Market

MARKET SUMMARY

This market centers on which team will emerge victorious in the best-of-three upper bracket quarterfinal match between 3DMAX and Magic at the Stake Ranked Episode 2 Playoffs, a LAN event featuring eight of Counter-Strike 2's top competing sides. The Stake Ranked series represents a significant tier-2 competitive platform, and the quarterfinal stage marks the first high-stakes elimination point of the playoffs bracket, where the margin between advancement and elimination is determined by map-by-map execution. Traders are assessing 3DMAX's established international pedigree against magic's qualification run and upside as a dark horse, weighing recent form, map pool depth, and head-to-head tendencies to forecast which side advances through the upper bracket.

RULES
  1. Market Outcomes and Resolution Criteria: This market resolves to "3DMAX" if 3DMAX is officially recorded as the winner of this best-of-three series. It resolves to "Magic" if magic is officially recorded as the winner. It resolves to "Tie" if the match is cancelled, ends without an officially declared winner, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the originally scheduled start time without a winner determined; in the event of a Tie resolution, all positions settle at $0.50 per share.

  2. Definition of Official Winner: "Officially recorded as the winner" means the team confirmed as the winner of the best-of-three series in the official Stake Ranked Episode 2 match results as published on HLTV.org, determined through completion of all required maps per official tournament rules, including overtime procedures where applicable.

  3. Official Sources and Evidence: The primary source for resolution is the official match result as published on HLTV.org. If HLTV.org has not published a finalized result within 2 hours of the series' conclusion, a consensus of credible secondary sources — including Liquipedia CS2, official team social media accounts, and video evidence — may be used for corroboration but cannot override a clear or later-dated primary source publication.

  4. Handling Forfeits, Walkovers, and Special Match Outcomes: If the match begins but is not completed, and one team is declared the winner due to the opponent's forfeit, disqualification, or walkover under official tournament rules, the market resolves to that winning team. If a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover occurs before the match starts — such that one team withdraws prior to the first map and the other is awarded a win without play — the market resolves to "Tie." If the series ends without an officially declared winner for any other reason, the market resolves to "Tie."

  5. Handling Postponements and Cancellations: If the match is postponed or rescheduled, this market remains open until the listed fixture is completed. If the match is not completed, is cancelled, or no official winner is declared within 7 days of the originally scheduled start time of May 27, 2026, 10:00 UTC, the market resolves to "Tie."

  6. Resolution Timing: The market resolves no sooner than 5 hours after the official result is posted on HLTV.org following the conclusion of the series. Resolution is processed as soon as reasonably practical after that minimum window has elapsed and the result is confirmed.

  7. Ambiguities and Disputes: If conflicting information exists regarding the result of this series, the most recent official publication on HLTV.org takes precedence. Technical pauses, within-day server issues, or map remakes are handled per official Stake Ranked Episode 2 tournament rules. In cases where a team's listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source — including recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences — this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified. If a listed name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, the market resolves to "Tie."
