About Market

MARKET SUMMARY

This market centers on the outcome of the Women's T20I series between England and India, a bilateral contest featuring three T20 internationals on English soil in the summer of 2026. The series serves as a significant competitive benchmark ahead of the ICC Women's T20 World Cup, providing both sides an opportunity to test form, tactical setups, and squad depth under conditions that closely mirror those expected at the tournament itself. Traders are evaluating England's home advantage and recent T20 pedigree against India's formidable batting lineup and tournament experience under Harmanpreet Kaur to assess which side is better placed to take the series.

RULES
  1. Market Outcomes and Resolution Criteria: This market resolves to "ENG" if England Women is officially recorded as the winner of this T20I match. It resolves to "IND" if India Women is officially recorded as the winner. It resolves to "Tie" if the match is abandoned, declared "No Result," tied without a subsequent tie-break winner, or concluded without an officially declared winner; in the event of a Tie resolution, all positions settle at $0.50 per share.

  2. Definition of Official Winner: "Officially recorded as the winner" means the team listed as the winner in the finalized result of this T20I match, as determined under the applicable ICC, ECB, and BCCI playing conditions. This includes outcomes determined via regulation play, DLS adjustments, DRS rulings, forfeits, walkovers, or any officially sanctioned tie-break method such as a Super Over.

  3. Official Sources and Evidence: The primary source for resolution is the finalized match result as published on ESPNCricinfo (espncricinfo.com) and recognized by the ECB, BCCI, and ICC. If official statistics have not been published within 2 hours of the match's conclusion, a consensus of credible secondary sources — including Cricbuzz, the ICC official website (icc-cricket.com), and CricketArchive — may be used for corroboration but cannot override clear, later-dated official publications.

  4. Handling Ties and Special Match Outcomes: If the match ends tied and a Super Over or other on-field tiebreak is conducted under applicable playing conditions, the winner of that tiebreak determines the outcome. If the match ends tied without a tiebreak, or otherwise ends with no officially declared winner, the market resolves to "Tie".

  5. Handling Postponements and Cancellations: If the match is postponed or rescheduled, this market remains open until the listed fixture is completed. If the match is not completed, is permanently cancelled, or no official winner is declared within 24 hours of the originally scheduled start time, the market resolves to "Tie."

  6. Resolution Timing: The market will be resolved as soon as reasonably practical after the official result is published on ESPNCricinfo, or once it becomes clear that no qualifying result will be recorded.

  7. Ambiguities and Disputes: If conflicting information exists regarding the result of this match, the most recent official publication recognized by the ECB, BCCI, or ICC takes precedence. In any remaining ambiguous case not explicitly covered above, the resolver will rely on official match records as published on ESPNCricinfo to determine the outcome.
