VCL: Dynamo Esports vs Alliance Guardians

About Market

MARKET SUMMARY

This market centers on the Round 3 Swiss Stage match between Dynamo Esports and Alliance Guardians in the VCL North America: Stage 3, a best-of-three series that carries significant implications for both teams' advancement prospects within the tournament. The Swiss format rewards consistent performance across rounds, meaning a win here moves a team closer to the playoff threshold while a loss deepens the elimination risk. Traders are assessing the likelihood that either Dynamo Esports or Alliance Guardians secures the series victory, weighing recent form, map pool depth, and head-to-head performance within the North American Challengers circuit.

RULES
  1. Market Outcomes and Resolution Criteria: This market resolves to "DE" if Dynamo Esports win the series, or "AG" if Alliance Guardians win the series. It resolves to Tie ($0.50 per share) if the match is canceled, ends without a winner, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a result. If a team withdraws before the match begins and the other is awarded the win via walkover, forfeit, or disqualification, this market resolves to Tie ($0.50 per share).

  2. Definition of "Win": A team wins the series by taking the majority of maps in a best-of-three format (i.e., first to 2 map wins). If the match begins but is not completed, and one team is awarded the win due to the opponent's in-match forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, the market resolves to the team officially awarded the win.

  3. Official Sources and Evidence: The primary resolution source is vlr.gg. If vlr.gg has not published final results within 2 hours after the match concludes, a consensus of credible reporting — including Liquipedia Valorant, thespike.gg, and verified video evidence — may be used instead.

  4. Resolution Timing: The market resolves no sooner than 6 hours after the official series result is confirmed by the primary source or, where applicable, the credible reporting consensus.

  5. Handling Postponements and Cancellations: If the match is postponed, this market remains open until the match is completed or until 7 days have elapsed from the scheduled date without a result, at which point it resolves to Tie ($0.50 per share). If the match is canceled entirely with no make-up scheduled, it resolves to Tie ($0.50 per share).

  6. Team Name Discrepancies: If a team's listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source — such as abbreviations, alternate spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, or regional identifiers — the market resolves based on the underlying real-world team, provided it can be clearly and uniquely identified within the competition. If the listed name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market resolves to Tie ($0.50 per share).

  7. Ambiguities and Disputes: In the event of conflicting evidence, vlr.gg takes precedence. Credible reporting and video evidence are used only where vlr.gg results are unavailable within the 2-hour window. Official rulings from Riot Games or the tournament organizer on forfeits, disqualifications, or protests govern resolution in all disputed cases.
