VCT: Team Liquid vs Team Heretics

About Market

Market Summary

This market centers on which outcome will be officially recorded before the conclusion of a specified VALORANT Champions Tour match between two professional teams, using the match result itself as the defining reference event. The completion of the match serves as a discrete competitive milestone, marking when one team is formally recognized as the winner under official tournament rules and recorded in event standings. Traders are assessing which team will secure that official victory relative to the match’s completion, weighing team performance, current form, and strategic execution to determine which outcome will be recorded at the conclusion of play.

Rules
  1. Market Outcomes and Resolution Criteria: This market resolves to “TL” if Team Liquid is officially declared the winner of the specified match and the match is completed before 21:30 UTC April 9, 2026. It resolves to “TH” if Team Heretics is officially declared the winner under the same conditions. It resolves to “Tie” if the match is canceled, postponed beyond 21:30 UTC April 9, 2026, concluded without an officially declared winner, or if no official winner is recorded by that deadline; in the event of a Tie resolution, all positions settle at $0.50 per share.
  2. Definition of Official Winner: “Officially declared winner” means the team recorded as the winner in the official match results published by the tournament organizer for the VCT event. This includes outcomes determined through full series completion, overtime maps, disqualifications, or any organizer-sanctioned competitive ruling.
  3. Official Sources and Evidence: The primary source for resolution is the official match results and standings published by the tournament organizer for the VCT event. Secondary sources such as major esports statistics platforms may be used for confirmation of timing and result details but cannot override clear, later-dated official publications.
  4. Handling Postponements, Cancellations, and Non-Winner Outcomes: If the match is postponed but played and officially completed before 21:30 UTC April 9, 2026, the official result will count. If the match is completed after the deadline, canceled, or no official winner is declared, the market resolves to “Tie.”
  5. Resolution Timing: The market will normally be resolved as soon as reasonably practical after 21:30 UTC April 9, 2026, once it is clear from official sources whether a qualifying result was recorded before the cutoff.
  6. Ambiguities and Disputes: If there is conflicting information regarding whether the match occurred, when it concluded, or who was officially declared the winner, the most recent official tournament publication takes precedence. In any remaining ambiguous case not explicitly covered above, the resolver will apply these rules to determine the correct outcome.
