Will BTC hit $65,000 or $80,000 first by end of March?

About Market

Market Summary

This market centers on which of two specified Bitcoin price milestones will be reached first during the current trading period, framing the comparison around the sequence in which these levels are touched in the global cryptocurrency market. Price thresholds such as these often serve as psychological and technical milestones that attract attention from traders, analysts, and algorithmic strategies monitoring momentum and volatility. Traders are assessing whether Bitcoin will reach the lower or higher milestone first, using the moment one of these thresholds is first recorded in market data as the defining reference point for determining the outcome

Rules
  1. Market Outcomes and Resolution Criteria: This market resolves to “$65,000” if Bitcoin first reaches or falls to $65,000 or lower before reaching $80,000, based on the qualifying price definition in Rule 2, and before 23:59 UTC March 31, 2026. It resolves to “$80,000” if Bitcoin first reaches or exceeds $80,000 before reaching $65,000 under the same conditions. The market resolves to “Tie” if neither price level is reached before the deadline, if both levels are reached within the same qualifying price interval such that the order cannot be determined, or if no qualifying price data is available by the deadline. In the event of a Tie resolution, all positions settle at $0.50 per share.
  2. Definition of Price Hit Condition: A price level is considered “hit” when the close of the earliest completed 1-minute candlestick in the BTC/USDT market on Binance equals or exceeds the specified threshold. The relevant price used for determining which level occurred first is the closing price of that 1-minute candle recorded in UTC time.
  3. Official Sources and Evidence: The primary price source for this market is the BTC/USDT trading pair on Binance. If Binance data is unavailable or incomplete at the relevant time, reputable secondary sources such as CoinGecko or other widely recognized cryptocurrency market aggregators may be used to corroborate the order in which the price levels were first reached, but they cannot override clear and later-dated Binance records.
  4. Handling Data Availability and Candle Completion: If a candlestick is incomplete at the relevant timestamp, it will not be used for resolution; only fully completed 1-minute candles are considered valid. The earliest completed candle whose closing price satisfies either threshold determines which milestone occurred first.
  5. Resolution Timing: The market will normally be resolved as soon as reasonably practical after one of the qualifying price thresholds is reached or after 23:59 UTC March 31, 2026, if neither level is reached earlier. If both thresholds appear to be reached within the same reporting interval and the sequence cannot be determined from the primary source, the market resolves to “Tie.”
  6. Ambiguities and Disputes: If there is conflicting information regarding the timing or validity of recorded prices, clear and later-dated Binance market data takes precedence. In any remaining ambiguous case not explicitly covered above, the resolver will apply these rules to determine which price level, if any, was first satisfied before 23:59 UTC March 31, 2026.
