Will ETH hit $2,500 by May 4?
About Market
This market centers on whether the price of Ethereum (ETH) will reach or exceed $2,500.00 at any point before the end of May 4, 2026, as measured by the high of any completed 1-minute candlestick on the ETH/USDT spot pair on Binance. Ethereum's price action is shaped by a combination of broader cryptocurrency market sentiment, macroeconomic risk appetite, on-chain usage metrics, and developments within the Ethereum ecosystem including network activity, DeFi flows, and evolving institutional positioning. Traders are evaluating technical resistance levels, near-term momentum, and potential macro catalysts to determine whether ETH can reach the $2,500 level within the defined observation window.
- Market Outcomes and Resolution Criteria: This market resolves to "YES" if the high price of any completed 1-minute ETH/USDT candle on Binance is at or above $2,500.00 at any time before 00:00 UTC May 5, 2026. It resolves to "NO" if no such qualifying candle occurs before that deadline. There is no TIE outcome in this market.
- Definition of Price Metric and Pair: "ETH" refers exclusively to the ETH/USDT trading pair on Binance spot markets. A level is considered reached only if the official high price of a completed 1-minute candlestick (kline) is at or above $2,500.00 USD.
- Time Standard and Ordering: All timestamps are determined using Binance's official 1-minute candle timestamps in UTC. Only candles with opening timestamps prior to 00:00 UTC May 5, 2026 are eligible for consideration.
- Authoritative Source and Data Integrity: Resolution is based on Binance's official historical 1-minute candlestick data for ETH/USDT. Third-party data aggregators may be used solely for corroboration and may not override Binance's official records.
- Data Revisions and Anomalies: The market resolves according to candle data as first publicly available from Binance. Obvious exchange errors or demonstrably erroneous prints may be disregarded only if Binance formally corrects or invalidates the data prior to resolution.
- Resolution Timing: The market resolves as soon as reasonably practical after a qualifying 1-minute candle high at or above $2,500.00 is confirmed, or after 00:00 UTC May 5, 2026 if no such event occurs.
