Will Gold hit a new all-time high before April?
About Market
This market centers on whether gold will establish a new all-time high before April, using the arrival of April as the reference milestone for the comparison. The transition into April serves as a clear temporal boundary in the calendar year, creating a defined window in which any record-setting price movement must occur. Traders are assessing whether gold’s price action will surpass its previous historical peak prior to that cutoff, turning the approach of April into a concrete marker against which a new record high is measured.
- Market Outcomes and Resolution Criteria: This market resolves to “YES” if the LBMA Gold Price PM (USD per troy ounce) strictly exceeds $5,405.00 USD, being the highest published LBMA Gold Price PM (USD) recorded prior to 00:00:00 UTC March 2, 2026, at any time between 00:00:00 UTC March 2, 2026 and 23:59:59 UTC March 31, 2026. It resolves to “NO” if no published LBMA Gold Price PM (USD) exceeds this level within that period. There is no TIE outcome in this market.
- Definition of All-Time High: “All-time high” refers exclusively to the highest official LBMA Gold Price PM (USD) published at any time prior to 00:00:00 UTC March 2, 2026, which is $5,405.00 USD. A qualifying new high must strictly exceed this value; an equal price does not qualify.
- Definition of Gold: “Gold” refers to the LBMA Gold Price PM benchmark quoted in U.S. dollars per troy ounce, commonly referenced as XAU/USD spot. Intraday market quotes, broker feeds, futures prices, and AM fixings are not considered.
- Price Metric and Source: Resolution is based exclusively on the official LBMA Gold Price PM (USD) as published by the London Bullion Market Association (LBMA). Secondary data providers may be used solely for confirmation but cannot override the official LBMA publication.
- Data Finality and Revisions: LBMA Gold Price PM (USD) values are considered final as first published by the LBMA for the relevant pricing session. Subsequent corrections apply only if the LBMA formally revises or republishes the benchmark prior to market resolution.
- Non-Trading Days and Resolution Timing: Only dates on which an official LBMA Gold Price PM (USD) is published are valid observation dates. The market resolves as soon as reasonably practical after a qualifying new high is published, or after the final published fixing on or before March 31, 2026 if no new high occurs.
