Will KOSDAQ exceed 1,111 KRW before April 16?
About Market
This market centers on whether the KOSDAQ index will surpass a specified numerical threshold before a defined mid-April cutoff, using that threshold crossing as the defining reference event. The approach to the April 16 boundary serves as a temporal milestone, marking the end of the observation window during which movements in the index are evaluated against the defined level. Traders are assessing whether market dynamics will drive the KOSDAQ index beyond the specified threshold relative to that cutoff, weighing macroeconomic signals, investor sentiment, and equity market momentum to determine whether the level will be exceeded within the defined timeframe.
- Market Outcomes and Resolution Criteria: This market resolves to “YES” if the “Open” price of the TradingView 1-day candle for the KOSDAQ Composite Index is strictly greater than 1,111 KRW as observed on or before 23:59 UTC April 15, 2026. It resolves to “NO” if no such qualifying Open price is recorded by that deadline. A value equal to 1,111 KRW does not qualify. There is no TIE outcome in this market.
- Definition of Price Metric: The relevant value is the “Open” price of the 1-day candle for KOSDAQ (KRX:KOSDAQ) as displayed on TradingView. This represents the official opening level for that trading day; intraday highs, lows, or closing prices do not qualify unless specified in Rule 4.
- Official Sources and Evidence: The sole authoritative source for resolution is TradingView, specifically the KOSDAQ chart (https://www.tradingview.com/chart/?symbol=KRX%3AKOSDAQ). Secondary financial data providers may be used for corroboration but cannot override TradingView’s displayed values.
- Fallback Condition for Missing Data: If the required 1-day Open price for the relevant date cannot be retrieved from TradingView, the market will instead resolve based on the Close price of the most recent prior 1-day candle available on the same chart.
- Eligible Observation Period: Only 1-day candle Open prices visible on TradingView on or before 23:59 UTC April 15, 2026 are eligible for determination. Values first appearing after this time do not count.
- Resolution Timing: The market will be resolved as soon as reasonably practical after 23:59 UTC April 15, 2026, once it is clear whether any qualifying Open price exceeded the threshold before the cutoff.
- Ambiguities and Disputes: In cases of ambiguity regarding price values, timestamps, or data availability, the TradingView chart data takes precedence. Any remaining uncertainty will be resolved based on the most consistent interpretation of the displayed 1-day candle data.
