Will Katana’s KAT token launch by the end of March?

About Market

Market Summary

This market centers on whether Katana’s KAT token will officially launch before the reference deadline at the end of March 2026. The end of March serves as a defined milestone, creating a fixed temporal boundary against which any public token launch, announcement, or on-chain deployment is measured. Traders are assessing whether Katana will complete and publicly confirm the token’s release prior to that cutoff, weighing official communications, ecosystem readiness, and deployment signals to determine whether the launch occurs before the calendar milestone is reached.

Rules
  1. Market Outcomes and Resolution Criteria: This market has two possible outcomes: “YES” and “NO.” The market resolves to “YES” if Katana’s KAT token is officially launched on its designated production mainnet on or before 31 March 2026, 23:59:59 UTC, as evidenced by an official announcement and corresponding on-chain deployment. It resolves to “NO” if no such qualifying launch occurs by the deadline. There is no “Tie” outcome in this market.
  2. Definition of “Official Launch” and Applicable Deployment: For this market, an “official launch” means the KAT token is publicly announced by Katana through its official website, blog, or verified X account and a corresponding token contract is deployed and publicly accessible on the designated production mainnet. Testnet deployments, private allocations, placeholder contracts, undisclosed deployments, or announcements without a live mainnet contract do not qualify. If multiple contracts are deployed, only the contract identified by Katana as the official KAT token is considered.
  3. Official Sources and Evidence: Primary sources are Katana’s official website, blog, and verified X account announcing the KAT token launch, together with verifiable on-chain records from the relevant blockchain explorer confirming deployment of the KAT token contract on the designated production mainnet. Secondary sources such as CoinGecko, CoinMarketCap, or major crypto news outlets may be used to corroborate timing and details but cannot override clear, later-dated official Katana communications or blockchain records.
  4. Handling Delays, Postponements, and Incomplete Launches: If the KAT token launch is announced but no corresponding mainnet token contract is deployed by 31 March 2026, 23:59:59 UTC, the market resolves to “NO.” If the launch is postponed, canceled, or materially restructured such that no qualifying official launch occurs by the deadline, the market resolves to “NO.”
  5. Resolution Timing: The market will normally be resolved as soon as reasonably practical after 31 March 2026, 23:59:59 UTC, once it is clear from official announcements and on-chain records whether a qualifying launch occurred before the cutoff. If reliable evidence emerges shortly thereafter clarifying the timing or validity of the deployment, the resolver may use that information to align the outcome with what actually occurred by the deadline.
  6. Ambiguities and Disputes: If there is conflicting information regarding whether the token was officially launched, when the contract was deployed, or which contract constitutes the official KAT token, clear and later-dated communications from Katana’s verified channels take precedence, followed by verifiable blockchain records. In any remaining ambiguous case not explicitly covered above, the resolver will apply these rules to determine whether, as of 31 March 2026, 23:59:59 UTC, a reasonable, well-informed observer would classify the KAT token as officially launched.
