Will One Piece Season 2 be the top global Netflix show this week?

About Market

Market Summary

This market centers on whether One Piece Season 2 can secure the top position on Netflix’s global weekly television rankings before the end of the current reporting cycle. The weekly global chart serves as a standardized milestone for measuring worldwide streaming performance, consolidating viewership across regions into a single comparative ranking. Traders are assessing whether the series can achieve the highest global standing relative to this chart milestone during the specified tracking period.

Rules
  1. Market Outcomes and Resolution Criteria: The market resolves to “YES” if One Piece Season 2 is ranked #1 on the global Netflix Top 10 TV Shows (English) list for the relevant weekly reporting period. It resolves to “NO” if it does not hold the #1 position on that list. It resolves to “TIE” if Netflix does not publish the relevant global Top 10 ranking update by 00:00 UTC March 20, 2026; in the event of a Tie resolution, all positions settle at $0.50 per share.
  2. Definition of Eligible Ranking: The “global Netflix Top 10 TV Shows (English)” ranking refers to the official weekly global chart published by Netflix that ranks English-language television series by total global views during the reporting week. Only the position labeled “#1” on this specific global TV chart qualifies; rankings in country-level charts, non-English charts, film charts, or daily rankings do not qualify.
  3. Official Sources and Evidence: The primary source for resolution is the official Netflix Top 10 website (top10.netflix.com) showing the global weekly TV rankings. Secondary sources such as official Netflix press releases or reputable entertainment industry reporting may be used for confirmation if the primary source is temporarily unavailable, but they may not override clear and later-dated Netflix publications.
  4. Resolution Timing: The market will resolve as soon as reasonably practical after Netflix publishes the relevant weekly global Top 10 update reflecting the reporting period. Netflix is expected to publish this update at approximately 19:00 UTC on March 17, 2026, though the exact publication time may vary. If the update is delayed, resolution will occur once the official ranking becomes available. If no qualifying update is published by 00:00 UTC March 20, 2026, the market resolves to “Tie.”
  5. Handling Publication Delays and Data Revisions: If Netflix publishes multiple updates or revisions for the same reporting week, the first version labeled as the official weekly ranking will be used. Minor subsequent corrections that do not change the #1 position will not affect resolution, but any official revision that changes the top ranking will supersede earlier versions.
  6. Ambiguities and Disputes: If there is conflicting information regarding chart eligibility, ranking classification, or publication timing, official Netflix publications take precedence. In any remaining ambiguous case not explicitly covered above, the resolver will apply these rules to determine whether One Piece Season 2 held the #1 global ranking for the relevant weekly chart.
