Will Silver hit $60 by 8 April?

About Market

Market Summary

This market centers on whether the price of silver futures will reach a specified threshold before the end of April 8, which serves as the defining temporal milestone for the observation period. The cutoff functions as a clear boundary that distinguishes qualifying price movements within the relevant window from those occurring after it, anchoring all evaluation within that timeframe. Traders are assessing whether silver market dynamics will push futures pricing to that level relative to the milestone, weighing industrial demand trends, monetary policy expectations, macroeconomic conditions, and precious metals sentiment to determine whether the threshold will be reached before the cutoff.

Rules
  • Market Outcomes and Resolution Criteria: This market resolves to “YES” if the official settlement price of the Active Month CME Silver (SI) futures contract is equal to or less than $60.00 USD on any eligible trading day on or before 23:59:59 UTC April 8, 2026. It resolves to “NO” if no such qualifying settlement price is recorded by that deadline. There is no TIE outcome in this market.
  • Definition of “Active Month” and Applicable Price: The “Active Month” is the nearest CME-designated delivery-cycle month (March, May, July, September, December) that is not the spot month and rolls according to CME’s First Position Date. Only the official settlement price for the Active Month contract is considered; intraday prices (including highs, lows, last trades, bids, offers, midpoint values, or indicative prices) do not qualify.
  • Eligible Trading Days: Only days on which CME Group publishes an official settlement price for the Active Month contract are eligible. Weekends, holidays, and any day without a published settlement price are excluded.
  • Official Sources and Evidence: The sole authoritative source for resolution is the CME Group’s published “Settlement” price for the Active Month Silver (SI) futures contract. No alternative pricing sources override CME data.
  • Settlement Price Finality: The market resolves based on the settlement price as it first appears on CME Group’s official publication for the relevant trading day, regardless of any later corrections or revisions.
  • Resolution Timing: The market may resolve immediately once a qualifying settlement price at or below $60.00 USD is published within the eligible period. If no qualifying settlement occurs, the market resolves to “NO” as soon as reasonably practical after 23:59:59 UTC April 8, 2026.
  • Ambiguities and Disputes: In cases of ambiguity regarding contract designation, settlement timing, or data presentation, CME Group’s definitions and published records take precedence. Any remaining uncertainty is resolved by applying these rules to CME’s official settlement data as interpreted by a reasonable observer.
