Will Trump release any of the Epstein Files this Year?
About Market
Bet on whether President Trump or his administration will release any additional Jeffrey Epstein-related files by the end of 2025, amid ongoing debates about unsealing documents tied to the late financier's scandals. This market reflects tensions over transparency, with recent reports highlighting the administration's reluctance to disclose more records despite public pressure.
- This market will resolve to "Yes" if President Trump or the U.S. government under his administration publicly releases any previously unreleased Jeffrey Epstein files (e.g., court documents, client lists, or investigative records) by December 31, 2025, 11:59 PM UTC. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No".
- "Release any of the Epstein Files" is defined as an official declassification, unsealing, or public disclosure of Epstein-related materials not already available as of July 25, 2025, confirmed via government channels like the White House, DOJ, or FBI. Note - leaks, third-party disclosures, or re-publication of existing files do not qualify; the release must originate from Trump or his administration and be broadly accessible to the public before the resolution date.
- The primary resolution source will be official statements from the White House, Department of Justice, FBI, or Trump himself (e.g., via @realDonaldTrump on X), however a consensus of credible reporting from established outlets like The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, or Reuters will also be used. Social media rumors, anonymous sources, or unverified reports will not be considered. In case of disputes, Foresight's team will review evidence, with their majority decision final, with refunds as priority.
- Early resolution may occur if an official release is confirmed before the deadline, triggering "Yes," or if the administration explicitly states no further releases will happen in 2025, leading to "No" by arbitrator consensus.
