Will USD/IDR exceed 17,100 before 13 April?

About Market

Market Summary

This market centers on whether the USD/IDR exchange rate will cross a specified threshold before a defined April cutoff, using that threshold breach as the key reference event. The approach to the April 13 boundary serves as a temporal milestone, marking the end of the observation window during which movements in the exchange rate are evaluated against the defined level. Traders are assessing whether currency market dynamics will drive the USD/IDR rate beyond the specified threshold relative to that cutoff, weighing macroeconomic signals, central bank policy, and market volatility to determine whether the breach will occur within the defined timeframe.

Rules
  1. Market Outcomes and Resolution Criteria: This market resolves to “YES” if the official USD/IDR reference rate published by Bank Indonesia is strictly greater than 17,100 at any time on or before 23:59 UTC April 12, 2026. It resolves to “NO” if no such qualifying rate is published by that deadline. A rate equal to 17,100 does not qualify. There is no TIE outcome in this market.
  2. Definition of Reference Rate (JISDOR): “USD/IDR reference rate” refers exclusively to the Jakarta Interbank Spot Dollar Rate (JISDOR) as published by Bank Indonesia. JISDOR is the official daily reference rate and is the only valid price metric for this market; intraday market quotes, offshore rates, or unofficial sources do not qualify.
  3. Time Standard and Eligible Publications: All determinations are based on the publication date and time of the official JISDOR rate in UTC. Only rates officially published on or before 23:59 UTC April 12, 2026 are eligible for consideration.
  4. Official Sources and Evidence: Resolution is based exclusively on JISDOR data released by Bank Indonesia through its official publications or website (https://www.bi.go.id/en/statistik/Default.aspx). Secondary financial data providers may be used solely for confirmation and may not override Bank Indonesia’s official figures.
  5. Revisions and Corrections: The market resolves according to the JISDOR rate as first officially published. Subsequent revisions alter the outcome only if Bank Indonesia formally corrects or withdraws the original published rate before resolution.
  6. Resolution Timing: The market resolves as soon as reasonably practical after a qualifying JISDOR rate above 17,100 is published, or after 23:59 UTC April 12, 2026 if no such event occurs.
