About Market

Market Summary

This market centers on whether the $KAT token will trade at a price greater than $0.10 by the end of February 2026. The question reflects expectations around the token’s near-term market performance, which may be influenced by factors such as project development progress, ecosystem adoption, exchange liquidity, broader cryptocurrency market conditions, and investor sentiment. Traders are assessing whether upcoming catalysts or sustained demand can support a price level above this threshold within the specified timeframe, translating token momentum into a clear, time-bounded outcome.

Rules
  1. Market Outcomes and Resolution Criteria: This market resolves to “YES” if the market price of the $KAT token is strictly greater than $0.10 USD at any point on or before 04:00 PM UTC on February 28, 2026. It resolves to “NO” if the $KAT token does not trade above $0.10 by that time or if $KAT token does not become transferable (i.e., unlocked for peer-to-peer transfers, wallet movements, and potential exchange trading without lock-up restrictions) by that time. There is no TIE outcome in this market; it resolves only to YES or NO.
  2. Definition of “Price Greater Than $0.10”: For the purposes of this market, “price greater than $0.10” means a traded market price strictly above $0.10 USD for $KAT, not equal to $0.10. Indicative prices, quotes without executed trades, or internal project valuations do not qualify.
  3. Applicable Markets and Trading Venues: The $KAT price is determined based on actively traded spot markets where $KAT is listed and available for public trading. Over-the-counter transactions, airdrop valuations, wrapped versions, derivatives, or non-transferable representations of $KAT are not considered.
  4. Official Sources and Evidence: Resolution is based on a consensus of prices from widely used and reputable cryptocurrency exchanges that list $KAT and publish transparent trade data. If prices differ across venues, the determination is based on whether a reasonable, well-informed observer would conclude that $KAT traded above $0.10 on at least one major exchange within the eligible window.
  5. Resolution Timing: The market may resolve immediately once qualifying evidence shows that $KAT traded above $0.10 within the allowed timeframe. If no such evidence exists, the market will resolve to “NO” as soon as reasonably practical after 04:00 PM UTC on February 28, 2026.
  6. Handling Low Liquidity, Pauses, and Anomalies: If trading is halted, paused, or severely illiquid, resolution is based on the last available valid trades prior to the cutoff. Obvious pricing errors, wash trades, or isolated anomalous prints that do not reflect genuine market activity may be disregarded.
  7. Ambiguities and Disputes: In cases of conflicting data or unclear price behavior, priority is given to executed trades on reputable exchanges with normal liquidity. If ambiguity remains, the resolver will apply these rules to determine whether a reasonable, well-informed observer would conclude that $KAT genuinely traded above $0.10 within the specified period.
