Will more than 2 goals be scored during the USA vs Bosnia & Herzegovina match?

About Market

MARKET SUMMARY

This market centers on the total number of goals scored in the FIFA World Cup 2026 knockout-stage fixture between the USA and Bosnia & Herzegovina at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, with the question of whether the combined tally exceeds two goals standing as the outcome in focus. The overall goal count is a meaningful focal point because it captures the openness of the contest, balancing each side's attacking ambition against defensive resilience in a single-elimination tie where caution and risk are finely weighed. Traders are assessing whether the match will produce three goals or more, weighing each side's scoring threat, defensive structure, and likely approach against the chance that a tense knockout stays tight and low-scoring over ninety minutes.

RULES
  1. Market Outcomes and Resolution Criteria: The market has two outcomes — YES and NO — plus a Tie condition that applies only under Rule 5. It resolves YES if the combined number of goals (as defined in Rule 2) is 3 or greater. It resolves NO if the combined number is 2 or fewer (0, 1, or 2); a total of exactly 2 resolves NO, as it does not exceed two. It resolves to Tie only under the postponement or cancellation conditions in Rule 5; in the event of a Tie resolution, all positions settle at $0.50 per share.

  2. Definition of "Goals Scored": The count is the total number of goals scored by both teams combined during the 90 minutes of regulation play plus any added stoppage time only; extra time and any penalty shootout are excluded. Own goals count toward the combined total. A goal scored from a penalty kick taken during regulation counts; penalty-shootout goals are not counted. A goal disallowed by the referee (including via VAR) does not count.

  3. Official Sources and Evidence: Primary source: the official FIFA match report and statistics (fifa.com), corroborated by the Highlightly.net API (https://highlightly.net/). Secondary sources for corroboration: ESPN, BBC Sport, Soccerway, and FlashScore. The official FIFA match report is the definitive record of the final score in the event of any discrepancy.

  4. Resolution Timing: The market resolves after the official final result is confirmed on the listed sources. Trading closes at the market end date (EndDate) and all open positions are locked through to resolution.

  5. Handling Postponements and Cancellations: If the match is postponed, suspended, or abandoned before regulation is completed, the market remains open while the fixture is given the chance to be completed within the tournament schedule (postponements accommodated up to 30 days past the scheduled start). If no eligible completed regulation result exists after the 12-hour waiting period and the fixture is not subsequently completed, or the match is cancelled, the market resolves to Tie and all positions settle at $0.50 per share. Partial scores from an abandoned match are ignored unless the fixture is officially resumed and completed.

  6. Ambiguities and Disputes: Where reported scores conflict, the official FIFA match report takes precedence, corroborated by the Highlightly.net API. If the primary source is unavailable at resolution time, a consensus of at least two secondary sources is used. Any goal under active official review (including VAR adjudication) is resolved according to the final official record.
