It resolves to “NO” if the gold medal game features any other combination of teams. There is no TIE outcome in this market.
- Definition of “Final”: “Final” refers exclusively to the gold medal game that determines the Olympic champion in men’s ice hockey. Semifinals, qualification rounds, placement games, bronze medal matches, or exhibition matches do not qualify.
- Team Identity and Recognition: “USA” refers to the official United States Olympic men’s ice hockey team, and “Canada” refers to the official Canadian Olympic men’s ice hockey team, as recognized by the IOC. Minor naming variations (e.g., “United States,” “USA Hockey,” “Canada Men’s National Team”) are considered equivalent if officially recognized.
- Authoritative Sources and Evidence: Resolution is based on the official Olympic schedule and results published by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and/or the official Olympic Games website.
